JDC Building Works are delighted to announce Major Contract award with Sperrinview Special School in Cookstown.
Sperrinview Special School caters to pupils with severe learning difficulties from 3 to 19 years with the Cookstown based campus focused on Pre-School Students and Primary One and Two Students.
Due to the continuing expansion of the community, this campus requires investment in new specialised facilities for students and faculty.
The main building works will consist of additional accommodation for Sperrinview at Cookstown Dual Campus Site, creating a Two Storey SEN Classroom Build with Modular Construction Methods.
In short, this project will consist of:
- 6 classrooms with support spaces,
- A covered link walkway to the existing school,
- Associated playground works
- Car parking altercations
- Refurbishment works to the existing building.
It is worth noting, this is a Flagship project for the Education Authority NI as the first Two Storey SEN Classroom within the framework and the JDC team is happy to be at the forefront of this innovation.
The project site will be based in the Fountain Road of Cookstown – with the prefabricated unit being manufactured offsite in JDC Building Works’ warehousing facilities to prevent local disruption and streamline project runtime.
With planned completion in January 2025, the team at JDC Building Works are thrilled to get to work onsite at Sperrinview again for this major contract, thanks to Education Authority NI.
