JDC Building Works Ltd. is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050. This commitment aligns with our vision to lead the construction industry towards a more sustainable future.
Baseline and Current Emissions Footprint
Baseline emissions serve as the foundation for our carbon reduction strategies, offering a benchmark against which progress can be measured. For JDC Building Works Ltd., 2024 marks our baseline year.

- Scope 2: 8.05 tCO₂e
- Scope 3: 576 tCO₂e (includes business travel, upstream and downstream transportation, waste generated, and commuting)

This is our first year reporting emissions, establishing a clear starting point for our journey toward Net Zero.
Future Carbon Reduction Initiatives
While we have already taken initial steps to reduce emissions, including achieving NVIR-O-CERT certification and upgrading to LED lighting in our offices and manufacturing facility, we are continuously exploring further improvements.
Planned Initiatives
- Reducing Employee Travel: Implementing policies to encourage remote work and optimise travel.
- Electrified Fleet Transition: Replacing our company vehicles with an all-electric fleet.
- Solar Energy Exploration: Assessing the feasibility of installing solar panels at our new manufacturing facility.

Our Carbon Reduction Plan complies with PPN 06/21 guidelines and adheres to recognised reporting standards, including:
