Dublin Pearse Railway Station | Iarnród Éireann

Providing Sustainable Solutions for the Healthcare Sector

Dublin Pearse (Staisiun na bPiarsach) is a railway station on Westland Row on the South side of Dublin, Ireland. It is Ireland’s busiest commuter station and second busiest station overall (behind Dublin Connolly).

JDC Building Works Ltd. were delighted to get the opportunity to work with Irish Rail (Iarnord Eireann) on another two-storey office facility.

Challenge and Solution:

Our  recurring clients at Irish Rail (Iarnord Eireann) required office and changing facilities for their Sidings staff, knowing our capabilities as design and building contractors within the Modular Construction Industry.

Our Modular Methodology ensured all of Dublin Pearse’s needs were met with a sustainable solution.

This solution consisted of a two storey office block with Welfare Facilities focused on the ground floor and Office Facilities on the first floor.

Features:

Inclusive Design

With the inclusion of an Elevator Lift, Mechanical Doors, Disabled Toilets and Wheelchair Accessible Entryways; our team ensures that the office block met the inclusivity requirements of a broad range of individuals and their capabilities.

Office Areas

Equipped with the necessary technological amenities; desks and furnishings built by our own inhouse joiners, the build is the perfect environment for the administration team’s activities.

Standard and Cleaning Storage

Ample storage space was integrated, providing the staff with locker rooms to store belongings and cleaning cupboards for supplies neatly and securely.

Welfare Facilities

Inclusivity and accessibility were key in our design. We included male, female, and accessible washrooms and shower areas, catering to all staff members with ease and dignity.
